An Introduction to The Five Components of Health & Fitness

Becoming healthy and fit is a very personal journey. In developing a sound fitness program, a person has many things to consider. Getting “in shape” goes beyond just being physical as it should also contribute positively to one’s mental, emotional and spiritual needs for short and long-term health. It’s important to carefully consider and evaluate one’s medical history, current situation, goals and expectations so a safe, efficient and effective program can be developed. A personalized program, then, has certain requirements that help achieve those goals and can be built by using the following five factors that are needed for total fitness.

And We Begin Anew

I am very proud and happy to announce that FIT by FRED has moved to a new location….well, kind of.

I have had my practice at 614 Lake Avenue, Asbury Park for 11 years on the third floor of the Fitness Lifestyles building and I have recently relocated within the building to the lower level. This move has enabled me to design and organize my facility exactly the way I want it and I am very excited about the new location. The facility offers a waiting area and a very comfortable and professional studio environment and clients are feeling right at home.

If you are interested in checking out the new facility, please feel free to contact me to set up an appointment and I’d be glad to show you the new FxF home. – Fred Fornicola
